Self-Defense Training in Ramgarh

In a proactive move towards women’s empowerment, self-defense training was conducted for B.Ed and D.El.Ed trainees within the premises of Dr. S. Radhakrishnan Teacher Training College. Led by Vinay Ranjan Prasad, Inspector of Shotakan Karate Federation Ramgarh, the training session was hailed as a crucial step in today’s modern era by College Management Committee Secretary Sanjay Kumar Prabhakar. Stressing the significance of self-defense, especially for women, Dr. Shiv Kumar Rana, the college principal, emphasized its importance in contemporary society. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from assistant professors Ranju Vandana Horo, Nayan Kumar Mishra, Ms. Sanju Ranjana Horo, Mohd. Parvez Akhtar, Dr. Ashok Ram, Sonam Sinha, Sanju Oraon, and D.El.Ed department head Seema Kumari, alongside lecturers Murari Kumar Dubey, Supriya Burman, Babuchand Prasad, Rajesh Mahato, reaffirming the college’s commitment to holistic education and women’s safety.
Promoting Road Safety by Rajrappa Police in Ramgarh

In a collaborative effort to enhance road safety and reduce accidents, Rajrappa Police Station and Jan Akanksha launched a unique campaign. Led by Inspector Harinandan Singh, the initiative aimed to raise awareness among two-wheeler drivers about safe driving practices. On Wednesday, near Sukrigarha, Lari Panshala of Ramgarh Bokaro main road, drivers not wearing helmets were approached and given roses as a gesture of awareness. Singh emphasized the value of life, urging drivers to prioritize safety and avoid risky behaviors such as driving under the influence of alcohol or using mobile phones while driving.
Rather than imposing fines, the drivers were sensitized and encouraged to adhere to traffic regulations. Witnessing their emotional response, including tears of embarrassment, underscored the impact of the initiative. Drivers pledged to uphold traffic rules in the future. Inspector Harinandan Singh, also serving as the chief guest at a traffic awareness campaign organized by Dr. S. Radhakrishnan Teacher Training College under the National Service Scheme, reiterated the importance of adhering to traffic laws and government provisions to prevent accidents. The event saw participation from college officials including principal in-charge Ranju Vandana Horo, B.Ed. assistant professor Parevaj Akhtar, Sanju Oraon, D.El.Ed. Head of Department in-charge Supriya Burman, along with lecturers Murari Kumar Dubey, Babuchand Prasad, and Rajesh Mahato.
Youth Day Celebrations in Ramgarh

Dr. S. Radhakrishnan Teacher Training College located at Karigadha Lari under Chitarpur block. The birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda was joyously commemorated as National Youth Day at Bakrishnan Teacher Training School. Dr. Badri Sao, assistant teacher of Manarayan Yadav Memorial College, Barhi, and Manikant Sinha, secretary of Janakanksha Society, graced the occasion alongside Ritesh Kumar, chairman of the college management committee, secretary Sanjay Kumar Prabhakar, member Manish Munda, and principal Dr. Shivkumar Rana. Paying homage to Swami Vivekananda, floral tributes were offered on his portrait, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp to inaugurate the program.
Dr. Badri Sao, the esteemed guest, hailed Swami Vivekananda as a perennial source of inspiration, urging the youth to emulate his ideals. Secretary Sanjay Prabhakar echoed this sentiment, calling upon the youth to draw motivation from Swami Vivekananda’s teachings. Principal Dr. Shiv Kumar Rana exhorted the youth to remain vigilant and socially conscious.
The event also featured a live telecast of the 27th National Youth Program held in Nashik, Maharashtra, under the auspices of NSS, featuring addresses by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Youth and Sports Minister Anurag Thakur, and Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. Attendees were treated to vibrant cultural presentations from various states, alongside engaging competitions in Ludo, Carrom, Badminton, Table Tennis, Chess, and Needle and Thread, fostering a spirit of camaraderie and healthy competition among the youth.
