Tree Plantation Drive in Ramgarh

On June 5, World Environment Day, a tree plantation initiative took root at Radhakrishnan Teacher Training College, nestled in the serene surroundings of Sukrigarha Lari under Chitarpur block. Organized under the auspices of NSS, the program saw enthusiastic participation from the college community. Joined by fellow committee member Neelima Kumari, he underscored the collective responsibility towards nurturing our ecosystem. Dr. Sunita Gupta, the college principal, highlighted the significance of tree plantation in preserving life on earth. The event witnessed a collaborative effort from all attendees, including Assistant Professor Ranju Vandana Horo, Mohd. Parvez Akhtar, Nayan Kumar Mishra, NSS Program Officer Dr. Ashok Ram, and D.El.Ed Lecturer Murari Kumar Dubey, along with dedicated non-teaching staff. This united commitment symbolized a resolute pledge to safeguard our environment for future generations.
NSS Plantation Drive

On 24.07.23, Dr. S. Radhakrishnan Teacher Training College in Sukrigarha Lari organized a plantation drive under the NSS banner. Heera Kumari, the first trainee of the B.Ed 2023-25 batch, initiated the planting by planting a mango sapling. Sanjay Prabhakar emphasized the importance of trees and plants for the environment and human health, urging everyone to take responsibility for their preservation. Faculty members and non-teaching staff actively participated in planting saplings across the college premises.
College Management Committee Secretary Sanjay Prabhakar, a prominent figure at the event, joined in the tree-planting initiative by adding mango and lemon saplings, emphasizing the vital role of trees and plants in fostering a healthy environment. Stressing the indispensability of trees for human life, he called upon everyone to actively contribute to environmental conservation by planting and preserving trees.
Principal in-charge Ranju Vandana Horo, assistant professor Sanju Ranjana Horo, Dr. Ashok Ram, along with non-teaching staff members Shreya Gupta, Umesh Kumar, Pankaj Karmali, and Nirmal Mahato, also participated in the green endeavor by planting numerous saplings.
The occasion was graced by B.Ed teacher Mohd. Parvez Akhtar, D.El.Ed Head of Department in-charge Supriya Burman, and lecturers Murari Kumar Dubey, Rajesh Mahato, Babuchand Prasad, underscoring the collective commitment of the college community towards nurturing both academic excellence and environmental stewardship.
