Bokaro Kho Kho Team Heads to State Championship with High Hopes

The Bokaro Kho Kho team departed for the 18th Senior State Level Kho Kho Competition, set to take place from January 3 to January 5, 2025, in Ghatshila, East Singhbhum, Jharkhand. The team was given a warm send-off at Bokaro Railway Station by prominent members of the Kho Kho Association, including Patron Kumar Amardeep, Vice President Yogo Purti, and others. In a heartwarming gesture, Mahesh Munda of Jan Aakanksha Sanstha boosted the players’ spirits by presenting jersey sets and assuring the organization’s unwavering support for the sport. Speaking on the occasion, Patron Kumar Amardeep encouraged the players to maintain discipline and work hard, emphasizing that their dedication will uphold Bokaro’s identity. General Secretary Sunit Kumar Mallick expressed confidence in the team’s preparation, noting that they had received top-notch training and facilities. With high morale and community backing, the team aims to bring glory to Bokaro in this prestigious competition.
National Sports Day Celebrations in Ramgarh

Radhakrishnan Teacher Training College, nestled in the picturesque setting of Sukrigarha Lari under Chitarpur block, reverberated with enthusiasm as National Sports Day was celebrated in honor of hockey legend Major Dhyanchand. Principal Dr. Sunita Gupta inaugurated the festivities, fostering camaraderie among B.Ed and D.El.Ed trainees through spirited matches on the Teacher Training Football Ground.
The day witnessed spirited contests in Kabaddi, Khokho, football, and volleyball, with B.Ed trainees emerging victorious in the girls’ categories and football, while D.El.Ed trainees displayed commendable sportsmanship as runners-up. Under the guidance of college physical teacher Sunil Mahato, the games unfolded seamlessly, showcasing the athletic prowess of participants.
Among the sports enthusiasts were Rekha, Anjali, Vandana, Kiran, Aarti, Mili, Priyanka, Muskaan, Sindhu, Sujata, Poonam, Renuka, Pratibha, Ramlal, Rukesh, Sahdev, Bablu, Deepak, Manish, Manson, Tuntun, Rajkishore, Devendra, and many more.
The event witnessed the presence of B.Ed assistant professors Ranju Vandana Horo, Nayan Mishra, Sanju Ranjana Horo, Dr. Rajendra Prasad Yadav, Mohd. Parvez Akhtar, Dr. Ashok Ram, and D.El.Ed lecturers Seema Kumari, Murari Dubey, Rajesh Mahato, Supriya Burman, Babuchand Prasad, Varun Kumar, alongside the enthusiastic trainees, exemplifying the college’s commitment to holistic development through sports.

The cricketing fervor echoed through the precincts of Sukrigarh Lari as the Inter B.Ed College Cricket Tournament commenced under the banner of Radhakrishnan Teacher Training College. Graced by esteemed dignitaries, including State Secretary of Jharkhand Athletics Association CD Singh, and special guest Pramila Kumari, Principal of KB High School Lari, the event exuded enthusiasm.
Sanjay Prabhakar, Secretary of the College Management Committee, Dr. Sunita Gupta, Principal of Radhakrishnan Teacher Training College, Anand Kishore Singh, Principal of Max Institute of Teachers Training Ramgarh, Babulal Mahato, Professor at Maharshi Paramhans College of Education Ramgarh, GR Chauriya, Principal of Maharshi Paramhans College of Education Ramgarh, along with other distinguished guests, graced the occasion.
The inauguration ceremony commenced with the symbolic lighting of the lamp, followed by Kumar, Secretary of Radhakrishnan Teacher Training College, officially inaugurating the tournament. The inaugural match witnessed a thrilling encounter between Radhakrishnan Teacher Training College Lari and Max Institute of Teachers Training Ramgarh, with Lari emerging victorious by 65 runs. Subsequently, the clash between Maharshi Paramhans College of Education Ramgarh and Ramshobha College of Education Ramgarh saw Ramshobha College clinching victory by 7 runs.
The final match, slated for Tuesday, will witness a face-off between Radhakrishnan Teachers Training College Lari and Ramshobha College of Education Ramgarh. Addressing the players, Chief Guest CD Singh emphasized the boundless opportunities in sports, affirming the commitment to promoting sports and nurturing talented athletes for a brighter future.
Dr. S. Radhakrishnan Teacher Training College Clinches Cricket Trophy

Amidst cheers and applause, Dr. S. Radhakrishnan Teacher Training College, Lari, emerged victorious in the final showdown of the Inter B.Ed College Cricket Tournament against Ramshebha College of Education, Ramgarh. The thrilling encounter culminated in a five-wicket win for Lari’s team, securing the coveted trophy.
The event, held under the auspices of Dr. S. Radhakrishnan Teacher Training College located at Sukrigada Lari under Chitarpur block, witnessed the gracious presence of Ramgarh District Sports Officer Rupa Rani Tirkey as the chief guest, alongside special guest Jan Akanksha Sese Site Secretary Manikant Singha, Dr. Jyoti Baliya, Rashmi Kumari, College Management Committee Chairman Ritesh Kumar, Secretary Sanjay Prabhakar, and Principal Dr. Sunita Gupta. The tournament commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Dr. Sunita Gupta, while extending congratulations to the winning and runner-up teams, announced plans to organize an Inter Boyd College Kabaddi competition for girl students in the future. Ravindra Kumar Mahato of Lari was awarded the Man of the Match title, while Siddhant Podar was honored as the Man of the Series. This two-day extravaganza, meticulously orchestrated under the guidance of physical teacher Sunil Kumar Mahato and former assistant professor Dr. Rajendra Prasad Yadav, along with Nayan Kumar Mishra, concluded on a high note.
The players of both teams were feted with medals by the faculty members of B.Ed and D.El.Ed, including Ranju Bandana Horo, Ranju Ranjana Horo, Ashok Ram, Seema Kumari, Murari Kumar Dubey, Rajesh Mahato, Supriya Burman, Babuchand Prasad, Varun Kumar, alongside dedicated staff members Pankaj Kamala, Pawan Kumar, Kapil Mahato, Munneta Devo, Suneta Devi, and others, whose invaluable contributions ensured the success of the tournament.
